Our mission is to supply food of high quality and safety for the public community. A healthy and safe food leaves customers with nothing to worry about so greater dreams and achievement can be attained.

Background

Functional Ingredient Technologies is a member of JOINTWELL Group which was first established 30 years ago in Montana, USA. Initially, Jointwell was started as a small business to market vaccines in pharmaceutical and French bread yeast products for the food industry. The rapid development of our range of organic/natural food products has brought us to worldwide expansion. And now, we are here in Malaysia.

We are constantly improving our knowledge and advancing our manufacturing plant for quality and efficiency production. We look into novel research, health trends, market demand and listen to customers’ feedback to develop reputable products.

Our Philosophy

We believe consuming a healthy diet is the best way to escape doctors and diseases. Complete nutrition naturally improves overall health and resistance to sickness. Besides, we aspire to conserve our mother nature by practicing the organic concept.

Product quality and customer safety are our priority in production to ensure all consumers get the highest quality assured food. Therefore, the following mission and policy has been declared by the company in order to gain public esteem and remain good reputation in food industry.

Food Safety Certification

Good Manufacturing Practices accredited from Moody International Fundamental hygiene principles to ensure the manufacture of safe and wholesome foods.

Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point certificate from Moody International HACCP is a widely recognised and used product safety management principle in food manufacturing, processing, treatment and service organisations.

Certified by Jabatan Kemajuan Islam Malaysia (JAKIM) An authoritative, reliable and testimony to support food manufacturers’ claim that their products have met strict Halal requirement by the Syariah Law.

Makanan Selamat Tanggungjawab Industri (MeSTI), from Ministry of Health Malaysia is a food safety program that ensure fulfillment on operation control, hygiene & Maintenance and tracebility.

Raw Material Organic Certification

USDA’s National Organic Program(NOP) and Organic Foods Production Act (OFPA) assure consumers that the organic agricultural products they purchase are produced, processed, and certified to consistent national organic standards.

Ecocert is an inspection and certification body established in France in 1991 by agronomists aware of the need to develop environmentally friendly agriculture and of the importance of offering some form of recognition to those committed to this method of production.

Australia Quarantine and Inspection Service

The AQIS Organic and Bio-Dynamic Program ensure that organic and bio-dynamic produce exported from Australia meets the requirements of importing countries, ensuring that international market access is maintained.

Montana Department of Agriculture

This department is accredited to certify organic producers and handlers, both under the USDA National Organic Program and under International Standards Organization (ISO) Guide 65.
