In operation since April 2002, Functional Ingredient Technologies is an OEM manufacturer that delivers organic and natural based products, dietary supplements and functional food products. In line with our principal in promoting a natural, healthy and hazard free lifestyle, we introduce products and ingredients which are definitely free of any chemical additives and most of the organic ingredients are sourced from the environmentally clean state of Montana, USA.


Functional Ingredient Technologies is a member of JOINTWELL Group which was first established 30 years ago in Montana, USA. Initially, Jointwell was started as a small business to market vaccines in pharmaceutical and French bread yeast products for food industry. The rapid development of our range of organic / natural food products has brought us to worldwide expansion. And now, we are here in Malaysia.

As a leading company who specializes in design, manufacturing and trading of nutritional and herbal supplements, we are keen in making persistent research to develop and improve our products. In addition to our own reputable brands (Fitwell / Jointwell), we have also developed some famous products for well known company under their own brand. In order to ensure and sustain the excellence of our products’ quality, we invested large amount in development of food science in accordance to the advancement of technology. This enables us to create brand new products from time to time.

USDA's National Organic Program(NOP) and Organic Foods Production Act (OFPA) assure consumers that the organic agricultural products they purchase are produced, processed, and certified to consistent national organic standards.

Ecocert is an inspection and certification body established in France in 1991 by agronomists aware of the need to develop environmentally friendly agriculture and of the importance of offering some form of recognition to those committed to this method of production.


Australia Quarantine and Inspection Service

The AQIS Organic and Bio-Dynamic Program ensure that organic and bio-dynamic produce exported from Australia meets the requirements of importing countries, ensuring that international market access is maintained.

Montana Department of Agriculture

This department is accredited to certify organic producers and handlers, both under the USDA National Organic Program and under International Standards Organization (ISO) Guide 65.
